Meet The Group

Bailey is a 4th year student in the Creative Industries Program at Toronto Metropolitan University. She is really excited to be able to collaborate with the Seoul Institute of the Arts on developing a short film concept.

Ellen is a 4th year Creative Industries student at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she specializes in The Fashion Industry and Media Storytelling. She has always enjoyed discovering new locations, foods, and activities, and she is really excited to be a part of making a short film trailer from the scratch. The precious opportunity to interact with students from the Seoul Institute of the Arts, in particular, had made the "Connect" between individuals, both physical and virtual, a reality.

Dia is currently in 4th year of Creative Industries at Toronto Metropolitan University. Growing up, she watched different kinds of movies, such as Hollywood Movies, Bollywood Movies, Dutch movies (since she lives in the Netherlands) and even Korean dramas. Seeing all of these different kinds of films and cinematography, Dia found herself questioning the technique and methods. She wanted to make something to impact the audience just like the stuff she watched growing up.

Chaeyoung is currently a 1st year Playwriting Major at Seoul Institute of the Arts. She mainly writes plays but is trying to write a script for a Film. She loves to create and write original stories, with her ultimate goal to have one of her plays turned into a feature film.

Sydney Waters is a 2nd year Media Production Student at Toronto Metropolitan University. Since she was young, she always loved Photography and Film, expanding her interests in high school through classes on Darkroom Photo Development and Film. She loves travelling and connecting with people in other countries, especially in an academic setting.
